Hi! Here's where we get personal.

I've taught the saxophone, clarinet, music theory and composition at many Melbourne institutions including St Columba's College, Brighton Secondary College, Emmanuel College and Mount Scopus Memorial College, as well as privately since 2009. I've prepared many students for highly successful AMEB exam results, and for major performances at the VSMF and Generations In Jazz festivals.

I specialise in jazz and improvisation, and although I am happy to work with beginners my lessons are probably best suited to students who already have some background on their instrument. We'll look at the great players and their styles, learn music theory, jam together, learn your favourite pieces and, if you're keen on it, work towards some local performance opportunities.

I'm also excited to now be offering online lessons via Skype and Zoom. We can work one on one from my home studio to wherever you are in the world.

My current teaching rates are:

  • 1 Hour / $70 AUD
  • 45 Mins / $60 AUD
  • Block of 10 x 1 hour lessons: $650 AUD
  • Block of 10 x 45 min lessons: $550 AUD

Head to the 'contact' page and we can start discussing  your aims in music!
